Lockdown 3.0


This lockdown feels very different to every other one we've had. The first one we had summer, the sun was shining and we could do a lot more outside. The second one in November, at least we had an end date and Christmas to look forward to. But here we are in lockdown 3. It definitely feels like this one is taking a bit more of a mental toll. We're not sure when we will get some normality again, the days are shorter and darker and the weather is miserable making walks and exercise outside not as enjoyable. But we're all in this together.

Some days will be good, some days not so much. There will be some days where you will have lots of energy and you will enjoy working out and going for a walk, others you may really have to push yourself or not do anything at all. It is okay!

When it comes to working out give yourself the rule of 10! Train for 10 minutes if you still feel rubbish then you can stop but at least you tried. It is also important to listen to your body, some days your body might not have the energy to workout, that is okay. Make sure you replenish your body properly and get moving the next day.

It's important to listen to your body but also important to push yourself too! Working out will make you feel so much better, if I didn't train I think I would be in a much darker place.
